Requirements
Must:
We require candidates for the Engineering Analyst 3 position to have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (non-engineering) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the nuclear or related industry; or
- An Associate’s degree in a technical field with at least 7 years of experience in the nuclear or related industry; or
- A High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years at the exempt level.
- Proficiency in engineering processes and systems relevant to the specific functional area is essential.
- Candidates must meet minimum access requirements or unescorted access standards as applicable, along with a favorable medical examination and/or testing based on position responsibilities.
Responsibilities
As the Engineering Analyst, my primary duties include:
- Delivering advanced technical expertise to develop, oversee, and execute engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
- Offering technical advice and direct involvement to diagnose and resolve equipment and system issues.
- Managing engineering tasks from initiation to completion.
- Performing engineering and technical assignments as directed by supervision, utilizing general engineering principles.
- Ensuring the accuracy, thoroughness, and promptness of work while maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures, and applicable codes for preparing plans and specifications.
- Conducting independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and initiatives.
- Recommending equipment and new methodologies to enhance performance, simplify construction, lower costs, remedy design or material flaws, or adhere to changes in codes or regulations.
- Undertaking additional job responsibilities as assigned by management in accordance with company policy, which may include emergency response duties, department duty coverage, or support for outage activities.

This position is part of the Rapid Response Team, specializing in providing Component Level Expertise, Predictive Technology Analysis, and Troubleshooting. Linked to our Clean, Carbon-Free energy mission, this role is vital for addressing technical challenges at our Clinton Clean Energy Center in Clinton, IL.
