Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with 7 years of nuclear or relevant engineering experience
- Ability to maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, alongside a satisfactory medical evaluation and/or testing in alignment with job duties
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical expertise to develop, oversee, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs
- Offer technical insight and consultation through active participation as a subject matter expert to identify and solve equipment and system challenges
- Assume engineering and technical leadership responsibility for both short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations
- Execute assigned engineering tasks, applying relevant engineering principles
- Ensure the precision, completeness, and timeliness of work while maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in the creation of plans and specifications
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and initiatives
- Suggest equipment, innovations, and techniques to enhance performance, simplify construction, cut costs, rectify design or material issues, or adapt to updates in codes or regulations
- Carry out additional job responsibilities as directed by management or in accordance with company policy, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support for outage activities in roles beyond the department
