Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
- Maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements, along with a favorable medical examination and/or testing as applicable to position duties
- For Mid-level: 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
- For Senior: 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
- Preferred: Degrees in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering
- Experience in inspection program management
Responsibilities
- Manage inspection programs effectively
- Ensure reliability of safety-related structural integrity and material health of the reactor vessel, along with equipment for safe reactor shutdown
- Define and establish inspection strategies while advocating for issue resolutions
- Ensure adherence to codes and standards while interpreting and guiding deviations
- Provide advanced technical expertise for engineering analyses and program implementations
- Act as a subject matter expert for identifying and resolving equipment and system issues
- Hold responsibility for engineering and technical leadership in both short-term and long-term operational impacting programs
- Carry out engineering tasks assigned by supervision in line with engineering principles
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, adhering to design criteria and codes
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects
- Recommend enhancements to equipment, concepts, and techniques to boost performance or compliance with regulations
- Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by management or according to company policy, including emergency response and support of outage activities
