Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
- Minimum of 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience for Mid-level role
- Minimum of 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience for Senior role
- Must meet access requirements or unescorted access needs as applicable and pass a medical examination and/or testing as required by position duties
- Familiarity with ASME OM Code requirements (preferred)
- Previous experience in snubber, programs or systems engineering (preferred)
- Experience in outage support at a nuclear generating station (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Execute engineering and technical tasks to support nuclear plant operations under direct supervision
- Ensure all engineering outputs align with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory standards
- Assist in engineering work functions as directed by supervisors
- Manage and implement the snubber program to meet compliance with ASME OM Code, NRC requirements, and internal procedures
- Maintain program governance, prepare reports, and serve as program representative during inspections and audits
- Develop and coordinate snubber work scope execution, including outage support, reviewing test results, identifying issues, and offering solutions
- Participate in industry groups and forums (e.g., ASME, SNUG) and integrate lessons learned into program enhancements
- Engage in additional job assignments as directed by management, including emergency response duties and support during outage activities
