Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications
- Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license with 8 years of relevant experience
- Associate degree with 10 years of relevant experience
- High School diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience
- Ability to meet minimum access requirements and favorable medical examination/testing as per job duties
Responsibilities
- Execute advanced technical tasks to tackle intricate problems requiring innovative solutions and impacting normal and emergency operations
- Offer leadership and specialized knowledge on a consultant basis by delivering real-time technical support
- Stay updated on industry trends by participating in industry committees and sharing knowledge
- Conduct advanced engineering and technical tasks to support nuclear plant operations
- Fulfill additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management and in accordance with company policy, including emergency response and support activities outside the department
- Evaluate and address issues related to corrective and predictive maintenance for process computers and control systems, implementing necessary enhancements
- Assess and resolve challenges concerning the maintenance of protective relays and associated circuits, making improvements as required
- Investigate and resolve issues linked to the maintenance of power instruments and make necessary upgrades
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to exciters and voltage regulator equipment, implementing required enhancements
