Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, or a related field).
- I have a minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting engineering, design-build, or energy services.
- I possess experience in developing complex energy conservation projects for building construction and retrofitting, along with demonstrated knowledge of relevant systems and methodologies.
- I have extensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, building automation, and process-related systems in various facilities, including commercial, industrial, governmental, and healthcare settings.
- I have proven my ability to apply engineering theories and structured problem-solving techniques.
- I am capable of analyzing and interpreting complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- I am knowledgeable about applicable construction standards and codes.
- I have experience in applying project life cycle cost analysis.
- I possess effective written and oral communication skills, along with the ability to generate reports and write technical documents.
- I maintain a valid driver's license.
- I meet the eligibility requirements to access government facilities.
Responsibilities
- I evaluate energy-saving opportunities at customer facilities by conducting ASHRAE level I, II & III energy audits and preparing comprehensive technical proposals that identify potential energy conservation measures.
- I leverage my technical expertise to create preliminary designs and estimates for cost and energy-saving opportunities at customer sites.
- I lead and perform engineering tasks for critical or complex projects that require multidisciplinary knowledge, designing large-scale lighting and water conservation projects with a focus on auditing, specification, energy calculations, and ensuring quality control of third-party design submissions.
- I utilize current energy modeling software to support building analysis and project planning.
- I coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to guarantee that design intent, constructability, and cost-effectiveness are achieved in all deliverables.
- I demonstrate leadership in safety by promoting compliance, correcting unsafe behaviors, and fostering a safe work environment.

The expected salary range for this role is between $114,300 and $127,000, which will vary based on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes a bonus and 401(k).
