Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
- Maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, with a favorable medical examination and/or testing according to position duties
- For Mid-level: 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
- For Senior: 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
- Engineer in training certification (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
- Offer technical consultation and expertise through active involvement, acting as a subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system issues.
- Take responsibility for engineering and technical leadership regarding short- and long-term initiatives affecting site operations.
- Execute engineering tasks as delegated by supervision while applying engineering principles.
- Ensure work accuracy, completeness, and timeliness while adhering to proper configuration management and standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
- Suggest equipment, new concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, ease construction, lower costs, rectify design flaws, or comply with updated codes or regulations.
- Complete other tasks as directed by management or according to company policy, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and supporting outage activities outside the department.
