Requirements
Must:
- For the Engineering Analyst/E02 level:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineering) with 2+ years of experience in the nuclear or related industry, or
- Associate's degree in a technical field with 3+ years of experience in the nuclear or related industry, or
- High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years of relevant nuclear experience.
- Familiarity with engineering processes and systems pertinent to the specific functional area is essential.
- Must meet minimum access requirements or have unescorted access, in accordance with position responsibilities, along with a favorable medical examination and/or testing.
- For the Engineering Analyst/E03 level:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineering) with 5+ years of experience in the nuclear or related industry, or
- Associate's degree in a technical field with 7+ years of experience in the nuclear or related industry, or
- High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of nuclear experience or related experience, of which at least 5 years should be at the exempt level.
- A solid understanding of engineering processes and systems relevant to the specific functional area is required.
- Must maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements as applicable, alongside a favorable medical examination and/or testing pertaining to position responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- I will provide comprehensive technical expertise to develop, oversee, and execute engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
- I will engage directly to identify and resolve issues with equipment and systems, providing technical counsel.
- I will manage engineering issues initially or entirely, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and promptness of work to adhere to proper configuration management standards.
- I will conduct independent research, assessments, and analyses supporting regulatory and technical projects and programs.
- I will propose equipment, innovative concepts, and methodologies that enhance performance, simplify construction, lower costs, address design or material deficiencies, or comply with updated codes or regulations.
- I will fulfill additional job assignments and duties as instructed by management or as dictated by company policy, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support for outage activities outside my department.
