Requirements
Must:
We invite candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineering) and 5 years of nuclear or relevant industry experience, or an Associate's degree in a technical field along with 7 years of experience in nuclear or a related field. Alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years in nuclear or a related industry will be considered, of which 5 years should be at the exempt level. Applicants should possess a solid understanding of engineering processes and systems related to the specific functional area. Additionally, it is essential to meet minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, along with a favorable medical examination and/or testing in line with job responsibilities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will offer advanced technical and engineering problem-solving support for nuclear plant operations and make significant technical decisions. Key duties include:
- Delivering comprehensive technical expertise to create, manage, and enact engineering analyses and programs.
- Providing hands-on technical consultation to identify and rectify equipment and system issues.
- Managing engineering tasks and issues from inception to completion.
- Executing assigned engineering and technical responsibilities while applying general engineering principles.
- Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and promptness of your work, while adhering to configuration management and established design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes during the creation of plans and specifications.
- Conducting independent research, evaluations, studies, and analyses to support various technical projects and programs.
- Suggesting new equipment, concepts, and techniques aimed at enhancing performance, simplifying construction, reducing costs, addressing design or material deficiencies, or complying with revised codes or regulations.
- Performing all other job-related responsibilities as outlined by company policy or directed by management, including emergency response duties, departmental coverage, and support for outage activities.

Compensation for this engineering position varies based on experience, with the following annual salary ranges: Entry Level - $82,500, Mid Level - $88,200 to $108,000, and Senior Level - $115,200 to $141,000.
