Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
- For Entry Level: No prior experience required
- For Mid-Level: At least 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
- For Senior Level: Minimum of 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
- Must meet minimum access or unescorted access requirements, including favorable medical evaluations
- Professional Engineer Registration is preferred
- Experience in design and modification of turbines, motors, pumps, heaters, transformers, generators, etc., is an asset
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical expertise to create, manage, and implement engineering analysis and programs
- Act as a technical consultant and subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system issues
- Ensure engineering and technical leadership regarding programs affecting site operations in both the short and long term
- Carry out engineering tasks assigned by supervisors, applying relevant engineering principles
- Ensure precise, thorough, and timely completion of work, adhering to configuration management and standard design criteria
- Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses for technical projects
- Recommend enhancements, new concepts, and techniques to boost performance and address design or material flaws
- Undertake additional job assignments and duties as directed by management, including emergency response and support for outage activities
