Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (non-engineering) OR
- Associates degree in a technical field with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the nuclear or related industry OR
- High school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of nuclear experience
- Maintain necessary access requirements or unescorted access criteria, as applicable, and pass required medical examinations and testing associated with role duties.

- Associates degree in a technical field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the nuclear or related field OR
- High school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of nuclear experience
- Familiarity with engineering processes and systems pertinent to the specific functional area
- Maintain necessary access requirements or unescorted access criteria, as applicable, and pass required medical examinations and testing associated with role duties.
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (non-engineering) and 5 years of nuclear or related industry experience OR
- Associates degree in a technical field with a minimum of 7 years of nuclear or related experience OR
- High school diploma/GED with at least 8 years of nuclear experience, including 5 years at an exempt level
- Familiarity with engineering processes and systems pertinent to the specific functional area
- Maintain necessary access requirements or unescorted access criteria, as applicable, and pass required medical examinations and testing associated with role duties.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Offer advanced technical expertise to develop, oversee, and execute engineering analyses, initiatives, and programs.
- Provide technical guidance and collaboration to identify and resolve equipment and system challenges.
- Take charge of managing engineering issues, ensuring accurate task management.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and promptness of tasks while adhering to configuration management protocols and adhering to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes during plan and specification preparation.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses to support regulatory and technical projects and programs.
- Suggest equipment improvements, innovative concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, simplify construction, cut costs, rectify design or material defects, or comply with code or regulatory changes.
- Carry out additional job responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management or as per company policy, including emergency response, departmental coverage, callouts, and support for outage activities in roles outside the department.
