Requirements
Must:
- PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Masters degree with over 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in at least two of the following areas: electromagnetics, space radiation effects, RF systems, high-speed digital system design, and environmental testing
- Proficiency in test design, procedure development, and execution
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with data analysis and technical problem-solving
- Programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or C/C+
- Demonstrated ability to develop automated analysis tools and reporting solutions
- Capacity to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to lead or engage with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to tackle complex engineering problems and adapt to new technical concepts
- U.S. citizenship required
- Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret clearance; an active Top Secret clearance is preferred
Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess the impacts of space environmental factors, including EMI/EMC and radiation
- Design and implement test plans for environmental and hardware-in-the-loop testing
- Conduct system-level analysis, modeling, and simulation
- Gather, analyze, and present complex technical information
- Collaborate with various engineering disciplines
- Develop and maintain technical documentation while communicating findings to stakeholders
- Participate in field exercises, technical briefings, and program reviews, with occasional travel required
