- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a closely related area.
- At least 5 years of experience in API Testing (REST/SOAP) with direct involvement in automated testing of web applications.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, or C# for a minimum of 5 years.
- Expertise in at least two test automation tools, such as Selenium, HP QTP/UFT, or TestComplete.
- A solid understanding of SQL scripting and database design with at least 3 years of experience.
- 2 years of testing experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, RabbitMQ, and MongoDB implementations.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems, commands, and shell scripting.

Responsibilities
- Design and enhance test automation frameworks and custom test harnesses.
- Develop test documentation, execute tests, and monitor outcomes utilizing application life cycle tools.
- Provide a suite of reusable and modular tests for UI components.
- Uphold and promote best practices in test development standards.
- Contribute to the creation of comprehensive test plans, gather requirements, and design complex SIT plans while evaluating the application of new technologies.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure thorough test case coverage and engage in exploratory testing.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of CI/CD testing pipelines.
- Analyze test outcomes, compile reports, and offer feedback and recommendations.

This is a fixed-term contract position lasting 12 months with a competitive pay rate of up to $65.00 per hour. We provide a hybrid remote work environment based in Mississauga, ON.
