Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of five years experience in scripting, software development, and web page design and development
- Proficient with tools such as FrontPage, DreamWeaver, or equivalent applications
- Strong background in Agile software development methodologies
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Experience with C#.Net, HTML, XML, PERL, and/or Apache
- Possession of 8570/8140: Category IAT Level III certifications like CISM, CISSP, or equivalent
- Relevant certifications for Web Developer roles with admin access, such as HPE Webinspect or MCSD App Builder
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, robust web applications utilizing technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, and Java
- Conduct all software lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
- Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices, manage database schemas, and integrate with DoD systems
- Apply secure coding practices following government regulations such as DoD STIGs and RMF guidelines
- Ensure compliance with standards like FISMA and DoD Impact Levels
- Maintain an active U.S. security clearance
- Collaborate within cross-functional Agile or DevSecOps teams to define project requirements
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior developers and technical staff
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides
- Employ DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and continuous integration
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure application performance and security
- Stay informed about emerging web technologies and integrate new solutions where applicable
