Responsibilities

In this role, I analyze and develop telecommunications networks that support a variety of capabilities, including voice, data, video, and wireless services. I am responsible for creating designs and plans for the installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems from project initiation through completion. My tasks involve analyzing problems and the characteristics of the information that needs to be transmitted, defining issues, and developing system requirements and network specifications. I work closely with other information system professionals to ensure the proper implementation of network services. Collaborating with functional users, I develop alternative solutions and backup plans. Moreover, I provide technical and administrative guidance for team members engaged in telecommunications network design, implementation, and operations, including reviewing work products for accuracy, adherence to design concepts, user standards, and progress in relation to schedules. When necessary, I also make recommendations for the approval of significant network installations and prepare milestone status reports, along with presentations on network developments for colleagues, subordinates, and end-user representatives.

Description

This position is remote with 50% travel required to CONUS and OCONUS locations, and remote work is authorized when not traveling. I prioritize confidentiality for all applicants and offer an excellent benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a competitive 401(k) plan, and generous Paid Time Off. Connected Logistics is an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
