Must:
In this position, you will operate under general guidance, developing product requirements from start to finish. You will create specifications for straightforward to mildly intricate issues, working in collaboration with the Vendor Project Manager, Contracting Officer Technical Representatives (COTRs), and government user representatives to ensure precise solutions and user contentment regarding technical matters. You will assist the Network Engineering team with equipment lifecycle management and installation, along with drafting technical specifications for acquiring Enterprise LAN equipment.
Your responsibilities will also include coordinating with the Network Engineering team for the placement and cabling of LAN equipment within the DLA enclave, conducting market research for new equipment, and providing recommendations to the Government Point of Contact (POC). You will give input on LAN designs and architecture as needed, perform lab testing of LAN equipment, and conduct knowledge transfer to the NTS-LAN government staff. Additionally, you will track assigned projects, furnish regular updates to the Task Order Project Manager (TOPM) and Government POC, attend meetings concerning LAN support and assigned projects, and efficiently task, monitor and report on tickets, projects, and special assignments within your area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Ensure development of NTS-LAN drawings and updates.
- Provide project updates regularly.
- Maintain a minimum of five years of progressive LAN experience.
- Be sensitive to IT-I β Critical Sensitivity.
- Hold a Top Secret clearance.
- Have a DoD Approved 8570/8140 Baseline Certification or higher: Category IAT Level I - A+, Network+, SEC+.
- Possess knowledge in Computing Environment: CCNP, CCNA, CWNP, CWDP, CTNS.

Connected Logistics is actively seeking four LAN Leads in each region (Northeast, Central, Southeast, West) to support the Department of Defenseβs DLA Information Operations, Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS), Network & Telecommunications Services (NTS). The Local Area Network Branch (NTS-LAN) operates across various DLA locations and this contract will uphold wired and wireless LAN functions by offering skills and expertise in telecom engineering and operational support for both current and innovative technologies.
