Must:
I am seeking candidates with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Network Operations. It's important to note that a Bachelor’s degree or military service may substitute for up to two (2) years of this experience. Applicants must possess a Top Secret clearance and meet the Sensitivity Level IT-I – Critical Sensitive requirement. Additionally, candidates should hold a valid DoD Approved 8570/8140 Baseline Certification, specifically an IAT Level I certification such as A+, Network+, or Security+. Familiarity with computing environments such as CCNA, CCNP, CWNP, CWDP, and CTNS is essential, and I require current certification as a Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA).

Responsibilities

In this role, I expect you to demonstrate the capability to work autonomously or with minimal guidance on moderately complex requirements concerning analysis, planning, programming, and implementation of network services. You will be responsible for making suggestions for key network installations where necessary, and you will work closely with other information systems professionals to guarantee effective implementation. Collaborating with functional users to devise alternative solutions and contingency plans will be part of your duties. I also need you to provide technical and administrative leadership for personnel engaged in telecommunications network design, execution, and operational tasks, including verifying work products for accuracy, alignment with the design concept, compliance with user standards, and adherence to schedules.

Connected Logistics is in search of six (6) Senior Telecommunication Network Engineers to support the Department of Defense and DLA Information Operations, specifically within the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) and Network & Telecommunications Services (NTS) Local Area Network Branch (NTS-LAN). These positions are for on-site work at various DLA facilities including locations in Tracy, California, Columbus, Ohio, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, Battle Creek, Michigan, Richmond, Virginia, and Fort Belvoir, Virginia. We analyze and construct telecommunications networks that provide a diverse array of capabilities such as voice, data, video, and wireless services. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying problems and defining system requirements and network specifications. You can expect to prepare milestone status reports and deliver presentations on network progress to colleagues and stakeholders, while also developing designs and plans for the installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems from project initiation through to completion.
