Requirements
Must:
- Seven (7) or more years of relevant IT/Cybersecurity experience, emphasizing OT security or industrial control systems (ICS)
- Current DOD TOP SECRET security clearance, eligible for IT-Level I (IT-1) access
- Willingness and ability to travel for fly-away missions on short notice
- Proficient in Python and PowerShell scripting for automation and security tasks
- Hands-on knowledge of security query languages such as KQL or SPL for threat hunting and analysis
- Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570.01 IAT Level II standards
- CSSP-IR or CSSP-A certification required and must be maintained
- Ability to complete required Computing Environment (CE) training and certification within six (6) months of hire
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough security assessments of OT/ICS environments to pinpoint vulnerabilities and suggest effective mitigation strategies
- Design and validate secure-by-default OT architectures using familiarity with the Perdue Model for robust network segmentation
- Participate as a key member of a rapid deployment fly-away team, traveling to various sites to provide cybersecurity support for specific missions
- Develop and implement tailored security content, such as threat detection rules and incident response playbooks, for diverse OT environments
- Engineer secure integration points between IT and OT networks to ensure controlled and monitored data exchanges
- Ensure compliance of all security configurations with relevant DoD standards, including familiarity with DoDI 8530.01 and DISA STIG requirements
- Deliver comprehensive security engineering support throughout the entire system lifecycle, from planning and design through integration
- Create and maintain automation scripts using Python and PowerShell to enhance security operations and incident response in OT environments
