Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a Salesforce Administrator, ideally within a logistics, transportation, or supply chain context
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) mandatory; additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a plus
- Strong grasp of CRM processes and business operations, especially in a 3PL or service-oriented industry
- Proficient in generating reports, dashboards, automation workflows, and handling data imports/exports
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English is essential, as this role involves communication with clients and employees throughout North America and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user creation, roles, profiles, permissions, and security parameters
- Tailor Salesforce objects, fields, layouts, workflows, and automation tools to meet business needs
- Create and manage detailed reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to assist management in decision-making
- Guarantee data integrity through consistent audits, data cleansing, and adherence to data management best practices
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and document business requirements related to process enhancements and new features
- Execute automation and integrations to streamline workflows between Salesforce and various logistics systems (e.g., CRM)
- Offer user support, troubleshoot issues, and provide training to boost adoption and effective usage of Salesforce across departments
- Keep abreast of Salesforce updates, new functionalities, and industry trends, recommending improvements as necessary
- Manage third-party applications and integrations that extend the capabilities of Salesforce.
Description
We are on the lookout for a skilled Salesforce Administrator to join our team. The selected candidate will be instrumental in administering, configuring, and optimizing our Salesforce platform to facilitate core business operations, including sales, customer service, and logistics. This role reports to the Vice President of IT. The Salesforce Administrator will uphold the integrity and efficiency of our CRM system by managing user access, ensuring data accuracy, and developing insightful reports and dashboards. This individual will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define business needs and deliver effective technical solutions that enhance operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
