Requirements
Must:
- Extensive hands-on experience in IT support with a focus on hardware and software troubleshooting
- Proficient in device deployment and system imaging
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and swiftly addressing issues
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central
- Basic SQL knowledge and understanding of database relationships
- Experience with Power Platform tools is advantageous
- Background in process documentation and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Exposure to automation or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) concepts is a plus
- College diploma or university degree in IT or a related field is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and application concerns
- Offer assistance across desktops, workstations, printers, and various business systems
- Resolve issues in a manufacturing environment with minimal disruption
- Image, configure, and deploy new workstations and devices
- Implement patches, updates, and system enhancements as necessary
- Decommission hardware by securely wiping hard drives and retiring outdated equipment
- Travel to multiple nearby company sites for installations and maintenance
- Install and maintain equipment such as workstations and network-connected devices
- Conduct physical tasks, including lifting and moving IT equipment as required
- Administer and support internal business applications
- Maintain ERP systems including Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Business Central
- Facilitate user access, system configurations, and troubleshooting across platforms
- Support and enhance solutions developed with Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI
- Contribute to the creation of simple applications, automations, or reporting improvements
- Help sustain existing workflows and reporting solutions
- Document processes using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency enhancements
- Assist in standardizing IT procedures organization-wide
