Senior IT Technician - Network & Support

- Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues concerning servers, workstations, networks, security measures, and cloud services - Serve as a technical advisor for team members by offering guidance, validation, and troubleshooting help - Collaborate in enhancing internal procedures, documentation, and technical standards - Maintain and support Windows Server environments, focusing on directory services, policies, name resolution, and essential network services - Work with virtual environments predominantly in Hyper V, with some experience in VMware being beneficial but not required - Assist in the deployment and maintenance of physical infrastructure components such as Dell servers, Ubiquiti switches, and WatchGuard firewalls - Configure and support Microsoft 365 settings related to email, collaboration tools, security configurations, and identity management - Aid in tenant setup, domain integration, license management, and user onboarding processes - Troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with firewalls, switching, routing, VPNs, and wireless networks - Collaborate on implementing security controls, patching strategies, backup solutions, and continuity plans - Contribute to the enhancement of the organizations security posture across various environments - Offer high-level end user and application support for complex issues requiring detailed technical involvement - Ensure all issues are resolved timely while maintaining clear and professional communication - Thoroughly document technical work within ticketing and knowledge management systems - Identify recurring technical challenges and collaborate on permanent solutions
