Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 7 years in information security, with at least 3 years concentrating on cloud security architecture
- Proven experience in securing Microsoft Azure and AWS in enterprise settings
- Strong understanding of:
- Cloud IAM and identity federation
- Network segmentation and cloud-native firewalls
- Encryption and key management (KMS/HSM)
- Container and Kubernetes security
- Experience in implementing Secure SDLC / DevSecOps practices, particularly in GitHub environments
- Relevant certifications preferred, such as CISSP, GIAC, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or AWS Security Specialty
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence technical and business stakeholders

Responsibilities
- Define and lead the establishment of cloud security benchmarks spanning identity, networking, compute, storage, containers, and platform services
- Serve as a subject matter authority on cloud threat modeling, attack vectors, and risk assessment
- Work in collaboration with infrastructure teams to embed security within cloud platform architecture, utilizing automation wherever feasible
- Design and manage security protocols across Azure and AWS environments, including IaaS, PaaS, and serverless solutions
- Implement and refine cloud security mechanisms (such as CSPM, CWPP, CIEM) to identify misconfigurations and avert runtime threats
- Integrate security measures into CI/CD pipelines and GitHub workflows, facilitating automated vulnerability assessments and code-to-cloud visibility
- Ensure compliance with industry standards like NIST and CIS Controls
- Convert security best practices into documented, audit-ready technical standards
