Power Platform Data & Reporting Consultant

- Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports. - Build and refine data models, semantic layers, and reporting frameworks. - Establish a scalable Power BI architecture across various departments including Finance, Sales, and Operations. - Define standards for workspace structure, datasets, and governance practices. - Identify opportunities to utilize Microsoft Power Automate for data orchestration and automation. - Leverage Microsoft Power Apps for lightweight business applications linked to reporting workflows. - Facilitate integration between Power BI and the broader Power Platform solutions. - Collaborate directly with leadership and department heads to understand existing reporting tools and processes. - Identify reporting gaps and inefficiencies while defining key KPIs and business metrics. - Translate business needs into clear, actionable data solutions. - Consolidate and integrate data from various sources such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017, Microsoft Business Central, Synerion, and other enterprise systems. - Aid in designing and supporting a centralized data repository/reporting layer. - Develop a BI roadmap for a phased rollout throughout the organization. - Recommend best practices for data governance, security and access control, and performance optimization. - Establish the foundation for long-term business intelligence and analytics strategy.
