Requirements

Must:
- Associate degree, technical school training, military technical training, or relevant coursework in Information Technology, Networking, Computer Science, or related fields preferred - 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, including internships, technical lab work, or hands-on training preferred - Basic knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, user account administration, and common business applications - Familiarity with networking fundamentals like IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN connectivity - Some familiarity with servers, Active Directory, backups, virtualization, or cloud systems would be beneficial - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate when necessary - Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with non-technical staff professionally and patiently - Dependable, organized, inquisitive, and eager to learn - Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or similar in progress or completed - Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, and network equipment is an advantage - Previous experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or multi-site environments is a plus

Responsibilities

- Provide first and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, mobile devices, and business applications - Troubleshoot basic to intermediate connectivity issues involving Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls, VPN access, and shared resources - Assist with the setup, configuration, maintenance, and replacement of workstations, peripherals, and network-connected devices - Support fundamental server administration tasks, including user account setup, password resets, permissions, shared folder access, backups, and routine monitoring - Participate in patch management, updates, antivirus management, and routine system maintenance - Monitor and maintain network performance, equipment status, and system availability - Collaborate with senior IT personnel, manage service providers, and vendors on escalated issues, projects, and hardware/software implementations - Document issues, solutions, configurations, passwords, diagrams, and procedures in an organized and accessible manner - Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment setup, account provisioning, and access changes - Maintain inventory records of computers, monitors, networking equipment, licenses, and related technology assets - Adhere to company security protocols and aid in maintaining a secure and stable IT environment - Engage in small IT projects such as equipment upgrades, cable management, hardware rollouts, network enhancements, and office technology modifications
