- A minimum of 4 years of experience in MSP, systems engineering, or senior-level IT support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Solid understanding of networking principles, including firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, VLANs, and wireless networks.
- Familiarity with typical MSP toolsets such as RMM, PSA, and documentation platforms.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and guide junior and mid-level technicians.
- Excellent communication skills, with the capability to convert technical issues into clear, approachable language for clients.
- A strong problem-solving approach focused on long-term solutions.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the main escalation contact for Level 1/2 technicians on complex issues involving servers, desktops, networking, security, and cloud services.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and quality oversight to ensure uniformity in service delivery.
- Collaborate with management to enhance documentation, workflows, and internal processes.
- Troubleshoot and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure.
- Support and manage Hyper-V environments (experience with VMware is a plus but not essential).
- Work with Dell, Lenovo, and Synology hardware, including RAID, iDRAC, updates, and lifecycle planning.
- Deploy, configure, and provide support for Microsoft 365 tenants, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, security baselines, and identity management.
- Assist with onboarding, domain configuration, licensing, and tenant administration.
- Troubleshoot and configure firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- Implement security tools, including standard solutions for MSPs.
- Support security hardening, patch management, backups, and continuity solutions.
- Deliver advanced support for workstations, devices, and business applications, owning incidents through to resolution while ensuring clear communication with technicians and clients.
- Keep accurate, detailed documentation within our PSA/RMM tools.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend sustainable solutions.
