Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a relevant engineering discipline - 3-5 years of practical experience in an IT role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting - Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Cisco, and Fortinet - Familiarity with Infor and CloudSuite SyteLine is a plus - High analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis and problem-solving - Excellent organizational abilities with strong time management and prioritization skills - Proven leadership capabilities and experience in team management and talent development - Proficient negotiation skills with a history of cost savings and effective supplier management - Advanced understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, including HPE Aruba switches and Ubiquiti - Strong grasp of IT standards, policies, and best practices - Advanced experience with Windows Server operating systems - Knowledge of data security best practices - Proficient in troubleshooting hardware/software and system integration - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences - Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment - Experience with contract management and supplier agreements - Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel frequently to the US for business needs

Responsibilities

- Analyze the companys information system and identify gaps needing attention - Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls - Troubleshoot, repair, and administer firewalls, local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), servers, and computer workstations - Monitor network performance, test for vulnerabilities, recommend improvements, and organize maintenance tasks - Ensure optimal services are provided in line with company standards - Install, configure, test, and maintain hardware and software such as computers, printers, servers, and operating systems - Regularly verify that systems are updated with critical patches to minimize security risks - Maintain licensing and upgrade schedules - Develop and enforce IT protocols across departments and projects - Simplify communication of system gaps to management - Ensure all systems function seamlessly and efficiently - Implement security and privacy measures - Monitor security certificates to uphold organizational compliance - Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff as needed - Facilitate employee onboarding for initial setups and training - Review and assess existing IT systems and internal processes - Install, upgrade, and maintain service availability for all computer stations - Manage daily user requests and coordinate tasks assigned by management - Collect and analyze data to pinpoint areas for enhancement in IT infrastructure - Create and apply policies and procedures to optimize the software development lifecycle - Develop quality assurance tests for new and existing systems - Document discrepancies, ensuring appropriate adjustments are made - Conduct preventive maintenance on computer systems - Ensure the integrity of data storage and backup systems - Monitor security tools and assess potential risks - Manage operating system configurations - Anticipate and resolve potential issues proactively - Generate detailed reports on company networks, software, and hardware - Track user behavior to inform future software development
