Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline - Over 7 years of pertinent experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Active Directory - Proven experience in both planning and executing IT projects - Familiarity with Cloud/Hybrid environments, specifically Azure and SaaS solutions - Understanding of information security principles and best practices, such as NIST CSF - Demonstrated expertise in enterprise endpoint protection and related methodologies - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information effectively to varied audiences - Solid grasp of Incident, Request, Change, and Problem Management processes - Capable of leading and nurturing technical teams while actively contributing to IT operations - Availability for special projects or urgent incidents outside of standard working hours

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily IT operations to ensure system uptime, network integrity, and rapid incident resolution. Balance team workloads to fulfill service level agreements. Monitor infrastructure health and suggest enhancements. - Manage IT projects from inception to completion, which includes system upgrades, transitions, and new installations. Collaborate with the Director of IT on project planning and execution. Supervise Change Management processes to ensure all modifications are documented, tested, and communicated. - Supervise Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive. Ensure effective management of Intune device oversight and hybrid identity structures. Assess and propose improvements for cloud services and cost efficiencies. - Support the maintenance of security certifications and compliance with NIST standards. Oversee endpoint security measures and ensure that security policies are updated and enforced. Coordinate incident response actions, conduct root cause investigations, and apply corrective measures. - Prioritize daily tasks and manage workload distribution among IT team members. Act as a technical escalation point and mentor. Identify professional development and certification options to enhance team skills. - Cultivate relationships with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers. Review vendor performance, negotiate agreements, and confirm adherence to service contracts. Collaborate with vendors for software licensing, handle escalations, and assess products. - Oversee data backup operations and business continuity protocols. Ensure that business continuity strategies are documented, tested, and regularly updated. Work with the IT team and management for compliance purposes. - Provide oversight for network infrastructure tasks including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points. Maintain high standards for network security, performance, and reliability. - Keep IT documentation current, including system configurations, procedures, and knowledge articles. Initiate process improvement projects and ensure the IT Teams SLA performance metrics are monitored and reported. - Monitor software licensing renewals and hardware upgrade schedules. Advise on technology investments and cost-effective solutions. - Adjust work hours as needed, including for special projects and emergencies, to fulfill the ongoing demands of this role. - Stay abreast of emerging technologies and pursue relevant training and certifications.
