Requirements
Must:
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and advanced modeling.
- Strong experience with Power Query (M language) and Power Pivot/DAX.
- Proficiency in VBA, Power Automate, or Python for Excel.
- Understanding of data integration and automation, including APIs, SQL, and SharePoint.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and software developers in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel tools for data management, analysis, and reporting.
- Build automated workflows using Power Query, Power Pivot, and VBA/macros.
- Integrate Excel with data sources like Egnyte, SharePoint, Power BI, SQL, and others.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure Excel systems work seamlessly with server and client applications.
- Identify and implement automation-based and AI-driven process enhancements.
- Standardize data structures and workflows across our offices.
- Train staff and facilitate the adoption of new tools and automation systems.
- Maintain documentation for system design, workflow logic, and version control.
Description
We are a small engineering and data services firm with offices in Colorado and Latin America. We seek an Excel Automation & Engineering Data Systems Analyst to assist us in designing, constructing, and implementing intelligent workflows that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration. You will collaborate closely with engineers and software developers who provide server-side and client-side support, ensuring that your Excel and Excel Power Query automation tools integrate effortlessly across various platforms. Compensation for this role is set between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We encourage a collaborative and innovative small-team environment where initiative and creativity are highly valued. If youβre enthusiastic about Excel, automation, and crafting smarter workflows, we would love to hear from you. Work will be conducted in person.
