Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or IoT systems
- Proficient in Azure IoT Hub, Device Provisioning Service (DPS), Digital Twin, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Storage Accounts, and Service Bus
- Strong programming skills in Python, C#, or Node.js
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of CBOR/JSON telemetry formats, MQTT, and REST APIs
- Familiarity with PowerBI or Grafana for data visualization is a plus
- Proven experience in supporting production systems and troubleshooting distributed pipelines
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Azure IoT pipelines
- Build and maintain message routing for IoT devices, DPS enrollment processes, and device twin synchronization
- Create and optimize Azure Functions for real-time decoding, enrichment, and routing of telemetry data
- Integrate cloud ingestion with Azure Storage, Event Grid, and Service Bus
- Automate deployment processes using Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and diagnostics using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics
- Assist in performance tuning and cost optimization of cloud workloads
- Enforce device authentication through DPS and manage symmetric key or X.509 certificate
- Manage access control utilizing Azure Entra ID and RBAC
- Ensure data privacy, reliability, and compliance for extensive device fleets
- Collaborate with embedded engineers on telemetry and provisioning workflows
- Partner with product and analytics teams to present data through APIs, dashboards, and event-stream integrations
- Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and playbooks outlining best practices
