Must:
- I require proficiency in SQL and T-SQL for querying, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
- I look for strong hands-on experience with JIRA for project management and Agile workflow configuration.
- I need in-depth knowledge of Agile methodology and Scrum practices, along with experience facilitating Agile ceremonies.
- Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting is essential.

- A strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with experience managing projects through the full lifecycle is necessary.
- I prefer candidates with a cursory understanding of the mortgage loan industry, including loan origination and servicing.
- Experience in the identification and definition of KPIs is a must.
- Business and systems analysis skills, including the ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications, are required.
- I seek candidates with 3 to 5+ years of experience in building technical business requirements, analyzing process workflows in and outside of systems, reporting, data analysis, application support, and technical project implementation.
Responsibilities
- I will expect you to collaborate with stakeholders to collect, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements for financial and mortgage loan purposes.
- You will lead or participate in the development of use cases, user stories, workflows, and process diagrams.
- You will create and maintain comprehensive technical and business documentation, including workflows, data mappings, data dictionaries, and business rules.
- I need you to develop SQL and T-SQL queries to analyze data and create Power BI reports, supporting data-driven analysis and decision-making.
- You will conduct gap analyses between the current state and desired state of business processes and systems.
- I expect you to identify opportunities to improve business processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiencies within the loan servicing lifecycle.
- You will function as a liaison between IT and business units, ensuring clear communication and managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Occasionally, you will test and validate system changes to ensure they meet business requirements and function as expected, including writing and executing test cases.
- Staying updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in financial services and mortgage lending will be part of your role.
- You will advise on and support reporting requests and calculations for ad-hoc reporting, data analysis to support projects, troubleshoot user issues/questions, develop new system fields, and enhance process improvements.
- Oversight of the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) for assigned projects, from initial requirements gathering through to testing and implementation, will be your responsibility.
Description
I prefer candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Sigma Six and/or PMI PMP Certification is a plus, as are credentials/training in mortgage systems. This is a full-time position with a pay range of $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. We offer benefits including 401(k), 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance. The work schedule consists of 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, and the work location will be in person.
