Senior Network Engineer - Cisco & Firewall

- At least five years of extensive experience in network engineering - An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in place of the stated requirements - Proficiency with network technologies from providers like Cisco, Palo Alto, Load Balancer F5, and Meraki - Familiarity with Network Access Control systems and Software Defined Networking - Experience with Network Load Balancers - Proven track record in establishing network designs and documenting standards and best practices - Background in collaborating with vendors and partners on product evaluations and solution implementations - Strong skills in collaboration, writing, verbal communication, and meticulous attention to detail - Knowledge of highly available network solutions - Understanding of the OSI networking model - Skilled in configuring and diagnosing IP routing/switching technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF in both IPv4 and IPv6 - Robust technical leadership and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Professional certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate or similar from other manufacturers are mandatory; equivalent knowledge may substitute for certifications - Preferred certifications include Palo Alto Networks and F5 professional-level certifications, along with other networking technology certifications.
