Cloud Security Architect - API Integration

- Over 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, covering cloud security, compliance, and risk management, alongside a background in system and network security engineering. - More than 6 years of hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - In-depth knowledge of REST API implementations, including securing, automating, testing, and documenting API integrations. - Strong familiarity with robust integration patterns including error handling, retries, idempotency, and monitoring techniques. - Skilled in scripting and automation languages for enhancing security orchestration. - Profound understanding of IAM, security engineering, network security design, operations, architecture, cloud security, data loss prevention, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, and vulnerability management. - Proven experience in applying federal cybersecurity regulations and standards like the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and NIST SP 800-53. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities with the capacity to address complex security issues independently. - Demonstrated ability to offer technical security consulting and advisory services, proactively identifying challenges and collaborating effectively with stakeholders. - Bachelors degree in information security, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. - Required U.S. Citizenship.
