Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity - Equivalent experience may be accepted in place of education - At least 15 years in Information Technology/Security, with a minimum of 5 years in IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG) - 5 years of experience in project management - Proven skills in configuring, customizing, and integrating IBM Security Verify Governance - Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Perl, Shell, Python, or JavaScript for automation - Hands-on experience with ISVG in AWS and proficiency in Linux-based systems - Comprehensive knowledge of identity management concepts like RBAC and policy-based access control - Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP) for system integration - Solid understanding of identity and access management best practices and compliance frameworks (SOX, HIPAA) - At least 3 years of leadership experience - Experience managing large-scale multi-site information security data centers - Proficiency in Microsoft productivity applications - Awareness of required change management processes

Responsibilities

- Oversee and address any security breaches involving unauthorized access to data - Ensure timely and efficient resolution of all issues - Foster team spirit by supporting colleagues and promoting a positive workplace culture - Stay updated on evolving technologies and suggest cost-effective solutions - Identify areas for policy updates or new policy development, especially for business expansions, and submit recommendations - Design, implement, and maintain Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions with IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG) - Create and implement custom integrations for automated user access management - Develop automation workflows for identity lifecycle management to enhance operational efficiency - Lead upgrades for ISVG, including applying fix packs, patches, and configuration modifications - Manage and optimize the ISVG environment on a Linux platform in AWS - Ensure high availability and performance tuning of the ISVG infrastructure - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security requirements and develop secure identity solutions aligned with enterprise standards - Maintain technical documentation, including architecture illustrations and operational procedures - Conduct regular system health assessments, logging reviews, and security evaluations to ensure compliance - Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members, contributing to the overall security architecture strategy - Research and recommend strategic technical solutions to advance Information Services strategies - Ensure that projects align with the strategic goals of the Information Security department - Oversee the successful integration and implementation of applications and technology - Evaluate organizational outcomes to recommend advancements in security technology and practices - Coordinate resources and schedules for project completion across functional and technical groups - Stay informed of best practices by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and networking with professionals - Maintain compliance with information security policies through a monitoring and review program - Document updates and provide status reports on tasks and issues - Advise teams on the latest security techniques to effectively implement policies - Participate in ongoing monitoring of backup and recovery procedures - Address change management activities to integrate security concerns into IT development - Conduct investigations into alleged security incidents or breaches - Serve as the point of contact for configuring standardized system functions - Create and review training materials for staff and conduct training sessions - Support co-workers with queries and issues courteously and informatively - Follow proper protocols for resolving problems and liaise with vendors as needed - Log and address outstanding issues promptly - Provide on-call support when necessary - Hold regular status meetings with Information Services staff and provide documentation to the reporting manager - Generate reports upon request using various reporting tools - Monitor vendor performance regarding incident resolution and system enhancements - Ensure timely resolution of application, system, and security-related problems - Stay aware of the changing Select Medical environment and recommend efficient techniques for project planning - Identify potential enterprise-wide problems and collaborate with management for remediation plans
