Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst in an IT setting.
- Strong comprehension of the software development life cycle (SDLC), mainly Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with business process modeling tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation/testing tools.
- Skilled in analysis tools like SQL and Excel, as well as requirements management software including Jira, Confluence, and Trello.
- Must be a W2 employee; no 1099 or subcontractors.
- No sponsorships offered.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Examine current business processes, workflows, and systems to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Convert business needs into functional specifications and assist in the design of IT solutions.
- Work closely with project managers, developers, testers, and subject matter experts during the project lifecycle.
- Create clear documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and user manuals.
- Develop test cases and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify that solutions meet requirements.
- Support the adoption of new technologies by training users and producing training materials.
- Track project progress, report on performance, and provide insights for decision-making using tools like Excel and Power BI or other BI platforms.
- Conduct workshops to comprehend processes and collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to clarify business needs and objectives.

This position may require occasional travel, and we are open to candidates residing in the Eastern and Central time zones.
