Requirements
Must:
- I am seeking candidates with 7+ years of practical experience in PHP (versions 7–8.4).
- You should possess a strong understanding of full-stack development and modern PHP frameworks.
- Deep expertise in MySQL, including clustering and query optimization, is essential.
- Proficiency in MongoDB, including schema design and data replication, is required.
- Solid experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) along with Node/TypeScript is preferred.
- I would like candidates to have significant experience configuring Nginx and working within Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git), SSH tools, and scripting in Bash and/or Python is a must.
- Knowledge of messaging systems like RabbitMQ is a plus, as well as an understanding of web security and secure development practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
- Bonus points for experience with Power Automate, Kubernetes, HA Proxy, or networking fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- You'll be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance, high-volume PHP platforms using custom frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter.
- Designing and maintaining scalable relational and non-relational databases (MySQL InnoDB, MongoDB) will be part of your role.
- Write and consume secure, well-documented RESTful APIs, contributing effectively to both front-end and back-end components using JavaScript, Node, and modern JS frameworks.
- Collaborate with our DevOps team to support CI/CD pipelines and containerization through Docker and Kubernetes.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance legacy code while introducing modern programming paradigms.
- You'll work with system tools like SSH, Bash, Python, and Git to manage environments and support deployments.
- Maintain secure coding practices that align with OWASP and industry security standards.
- Participate in code reviews to cultivate a healthy development culture.

Primarily, this position allows for remote work, with an estimated in-office presence of no more than 4 days per month, subject to team requirements.
