Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
- At least 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, systems engineering, or cybersecurity
- Proven experience in designing and executing enterprise cloud architectures (preferably Azure)
- Certification compliant with DoD 8570 / 8140 (IAT Level II required)
- Demonstrable experience leading engineering teams and architecture endeavors
- In-depth knowledge of secure cloud infrastructure and system design
Responsibilities
- Architect and create secure Azure cloud solutions for enterprise environments
- Direct multi-disciplinary teams in the deployment of cloud and cybersecurity frameworks
- Seamlessly integrate new capabilities into current cloud infrastructure while ensuring system integrity
- Implement cybersecurity protocols, policies, and frameworks in cloud architecture designs
- Develop enterprise-level cloud solutions that meet mission objectives
- Troubleshoot architecture implementation challenges during integration, testing, and deployment phases
- Assist in system engineering lifecycle tasks related to cloud architecture and security
- Collaborate with both internal and external parties regarding architecture and solution development
- Apply industry best practices and lessons learned to future cloud designs
Description
We are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Architect to enhance cloud architecture design, engineering, and cybersecurity efforts within a federal program. This position is fully remote and offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $115,000. You will be active in designing, developing, and integrating large-scale cloud infrastructures while safeguarding the integrity, security, and performance of our critical systems. As part of our team, you will lead engineering initiatives and deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions aligning with federal standards and cybersecurity frameworks.
