Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Over 8 years of programming experience within a team setting
- Proficient in Oracle and Java/J2EE technologies
- Capability to design SQL databases tailored to application requirements and data models
- Familiarity with application servers, preferably WebLogic and AWS
- Demonstrated skill in creating well-structured, efficient, and testable code
- Experience fostering a test-driven development culture
- Knowledge of information security architectures
- Background in programming using Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation for critical MassHealth applications
- Oversee the complete systems development lifecycle, including architectural and technical design documentation
- Develop SQL scripts for data modifications and write optimized queries for application integration
- Maintain code documentation utilizing change control software
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects to improve stakeholder efficiency and capabilities
- Work with diverse teams to manage projects, create statements of work, and communicate progress to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comply with established Commonwealth policies and procedures
