Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field in Science, Technology, or Mathematics
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree plus 6 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the work
- Proven leadership experience overseeing 3 to 5 team members
- Expertise in object-oriented programming, system processes, and Python scripting
- In-depth knowledge of test automation frameworks and methodologies
- Familiarity with hardware/software integration testing
- Significant experience using test equipment such as signal analyzers and signal generators
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of integration and test engineers, providing technical oversight
- Create and sustain the test strategy for embedded systems
- Design and implement test solutions that thoroughly validate system requirements
- Establish industry best practices for test automation and continuous integration
- Conduct Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and internal assessments with key stakeholders
- Develop detailed test plans that encompass all aspects of product functionality
- Write automated test scripts using Python 3.9+ in line with GDMS coding standards
- Apply robust verification and validation approaches
- Coordinate integration efforts across hardware, firmware, and software teams
- Create procedures that ensure seamless component interaction
- Support the adoption of AGILE methodologies
- Generate comprehensive test documentation including plans, procedures, and reports
- Maintain precise records of test activities and outcomes
- Demonstrate the ability to develop ROMs aligned with requirement execution
- Perform performance evaluations as per established processes
