Requirements

Must:
- 7+ years of experience in database development (Snowflake, SQLServer, Oracle, etc.) - 7 years of experience in designing, coding, and delivering ETL workflows using Matillion (preferred), Informatica, Ab Initio, or DataStage. - Strong oral and written communication abilities. - Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio, etc.). - Experience with data mapping, modeling, and defining integration pipelines collaboratively. - Ability to thrive in dynamic work settings. - Proven capacity to collaborate effectively within a team and foster constructive relationships with colleagues, departments, and customers. - Solid understanding of integration patterns (ETL, ELT, API-led, event-driven). - Experience optimizing integration workflows for throughput, latency, and cost efficiency. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments. - Hands-on experience with cloud integration platforms. - Knowledge of data governance frameworks and metadata management. - Proficient in scripting languages. - Experience with cloud database architecture is an advantage. - Familiarity with Matillion is beneficial. - Experience with real-time data loads is a plus. - Knowledge of Agile/Lean software development methodologies is an added benefit. - Familiarity with SaaS solutions such as Salesforce, ESRI, and Workforce is advantageous. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and architects.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate on system designs and develop data solutions focusing on integration pipelines across various platforms and legacy systems. - Supervise and lead engineering teams responsible for implementation on a daily basis. - Ensure that integration solutions comply with data privacy, security, and compliance standards. - Define and maintain integration architecture principles to guarantee scalability, security, and high performance across platforms. - Update integration process data mappings and data catalogs as necessary. - Lead or engage in design and pre-deployment review sessions. - Conduct data profiling activities. - Effectively interpret and understand data models. - Design and develop processes for data synchronization. - Participate in the creation and development of integration solutions. - Assist in establishing cross-application data standards and promote data-driven design initiatives. - Generate database deliverables ensuring quality and traceability to requirements, adhering to quality management plans and governance standards. - Collaborate with the team to confirm that all components align with the defined objectives and performance goals. Identify and communicate any cross-area or cross-release issues affecting other project areas. - Join preparations for go-live activities, including QA, dress rehearsals, issue remediation, cutover, and post-go-live support. - Engage in data management maturity assessments to identify gaps and challenges related to data quality, governance, analytics, metadata management, and master data management. - Seek and implement continuous improvement opportunities in processes, procedures, and systems concerning data. - Exhibit strong supervisory and interpersonal skills in team collaboration.
