Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity engineering, or a similar field
- Proficiency in supporting cloud-based environments and security protocols
- Knowledge of risk management, vulnerability assessment, and secure system design
- DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification (IAT Level II required)
- One or more cloud certifications (or the ability to obtain within 6 months)
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and deployment of secure cloud architectures
- Identify security vulnerabilities and help craft mitigation strategies
- Provide support for system security engineering throughout the lifecycle, including design, integration, and validation
- Aid in the implementation and assessment of security-centric tools and services
- Engage in the evaluation and mitigation of system security threats and risks
- Help validate system security requirements and ensure secure design
- Contribute to the application of security controls across infrastructure, applications, and data
- Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to promote secure operational practices
Description
We are looking for a Junior Cloud Security Architect to aid in cybersecurity engineering and identity-centered cloud security projects within a federal program. Our focus is on establishing secure cloud infrastructures, identifying potential risks, and enforcing security measures throughout cloud environments. This position is perfect for someone at the beginning of their career in cloud security who desires to advance in a structured cybersecurity and Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) oriented setting.
