Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree or Certificate in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related discipline - Over 6 years of experience in full stack web development, particularly with Drupal - At least 4 years of practical experience with Drupal, including custom module development and theming - Familiarity with remote Linux environments using CLI and Docker is a plus - Proficiency in PHP, Twig, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern development methodologies - Understanding of Drupal APIs, configuration management, and deployment processes - Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and implementation strategies - Experience with content migration tools (e.g., Migrate API) and structured content modeling - Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and JavaScript libraries (e.g., React, jQuery) - Experience integrating external systems via RESTful APIs and working with decoupled or headless Drupal architectures - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines - Understanding of UI requirements using tools like Figma (design not required)

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to evaluate requirements and craft scalable Drupal solutions - Develop and construct Drupal 11 websites, encompassing custom modules, content types, themes, and integrations - Lead the execution of content migration strategies, involving bulk content transfer, taxonomy setup, and metadata management - Create and sustain responsive, standards-compliant front-end components with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Integrate third-party systems and services utilizing RESTful APIs and web services - Configure and oversee Drupal site components such as content types, views, menus, blocks, workflows, roles, and permissions - Ensure all implementations comply with WCAG 2.1 level A and AA accessibility standards - Enhance application performance, security, and scalability, including caching methods and code improvements - Troubleshoot and address technical issues across the entire stack - Generate and maintain technical documentation while contributing to coding standards and best practices - Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing with teammates regarding Drupal development and platform functionalities - Keep abreast of updates to Drupal core, contributed modules, and new web technologies
