Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related field and at least 8 years of pertinent experience
- Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Proficiency in multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Practical experience with DevSecOps tools and automation frameworks
- Knowledgeable about federal security standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, DoD Cloud SRG)
- Active Secret clearance is mandatory
- Security+ certification is required
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable and secure OCI cloud architectures for enterprise and mission environments
- Direct development efforts across various agile teams, ensuring adherence to cloud engineering best practices
- Architect, create, and resolve issues in cloud-native applications and infrastructure
- Enhance the performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of Cloud One OCI environments and shared services
- Develop reference architectures, design patterns, and technical standards for cloud implementations
- Support security assessments and remediation initiatives across cloud platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, security, and product management
- Implement identity and access management solutions and security monitoring frameworks
- Promote the use of DevSecOps practices and automation through tools like Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines
- Assess emerging cloud technologies and their relevance to mission objectives
- Provide technical leadership and partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on cloud-native design and implementation
- Lead architectural assessments and offer recommendations on intricate technical decisions
Description
We are looking for a Master Cloud Architect to join our team in support of a large-scale U.S. Air Force Cloud One program. This position will involve occasional travel to Hanscom Air Force Base or Huntsville, AL. We offer a competitive salary range of $145k to $150k, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, and more. Our ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing and leading complex cloud solutions in a collaborative environment, focusing on scalability, resilience, and security.
