Business Analyst - Data Analysis and Insights

- Recommend and evaluate the impact of changes to drive project goals; gather, analyze, and document requirements; assist in communicating and delivering these requirements to stakeholders. - Engage in Organizational Change Management and Business Process Mapping. - Acquire knowledge of the Physical Access Control System (PACS) functionalities. - Confirm that functionalities meet business requirements using the Requirements Traceability Matrix. - Participate in testing as required. - Collaborate with teams on end-user communication plans aligned with implementation timelines. - Be available for knowledge transfer as needed. - Identify opportunities for enhancing operational challenges and formulate future project definitions through analysis of current business processes. - Develop and present findings to guide client decision-making. - Foster strong relationships with business customers across all organizational tiers, from front-line employees to executive leaders. - Ensure business objectives and strategies are reflected in proposed solutions. - Identify, suggest, and document specific business and technological requirements. - Conduct software fit/gap analyses and create preliminary and detailed business requirements, use cases/user stories, software requirements, and process/workflow diagrams. - Communicate requirements and opportunities effectively to various organizational levels and audiences with differing technical expertise. - Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business processes and associated IT systems, informed by business staff input. - Establish strong working relationships with key business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and IT resources to ensure focus on essential services and products for the business. - Collect and assess information from diverse sources for project planning and requirements gathering, interpreting complex information and understanding underlying business needs. - Support the four-pillar approach to business analysis, adhering to BABOK standards, developing change management plans per the Prosci model, identifying performance metrics, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
