Requirements
Must:
- Must hold an active Secret security clearance
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 4 years experience in cloud engineering, systems engineering, or a similar field
- Proficient in AWS or comparable cloud platforms
- Must have a DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant certification (IAT Level II required)
- Preferably possess one or more cloud certifications (AWS is preferred)
- Understanding of system integration, performance, and troubleshooting processes
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, implementation, and upkeep of AWS cloud environments
- Conduct system integration, verification, and validation tasks
- Evaluate system performance, functionalities, and configuration challenges
- Formulate proactive engineering strategies to enhance system reliability
- Oversee the cloud environments and enhance their performance
- Use system metrics and trends to refine system operations
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and cloud teams
- Aid in deploying cloud-based solutions that meet mission objectives
- Develop solutions for intricate engineering issues within cloud environments
