Requirements
Must:
- 6+ years of experience in supporting customers, troubleshooting cloud service tickets, and delivering cloud infrastructure projects.
- Hold industry-recognized Azure cloud engineering certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400).
- Exemplary communication abilities, capable of effectively advocating for requirements in customer and internal team interactions.
- Proficient in managing time effectively amidst competing responsibilities; adaptable to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced managed service provider setting.
- Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
- Valid drivers license and dependable transportation are required.
- Preferred: Multiple Microsoft Cloud certifications.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) context.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable Azure cloud solutions along with supporting infrastructure for our clients.
- Assume responsibility for the operational integrity of customer cloud platforms, including monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and proactive enhancements.
- Optimize cloud infrastructures for cost-effectiveness, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud, network, device, and software issues within established SLAs; collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address complex challenges.
- Execute assigned project tasks utilizing Agile methodologies; plan, execute, and coordinate activities to meet project scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers to delineate technical scope and cloud architecture for customer projects, actively working to minimize changes post-project initiation.
- Create clear and timely documentation in tickets to support customer success and mitigate recurrence of issues.
- Travel to customer sites in the Greater Minneapolis - St. Paul, Minnesota and Western Wisconsin regions on short notice, using reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work shifts in a 24/7/365 operational environment, including evenings, overnight, weekends, or holidays as needed.
