Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- 4+ years with modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript, producing clean, high-quality code
- 4+ years in Web Development using contemporary JavaScript frameworks like React JS or similar
- Proficiency in creating near pixel-perfect, robust, and developer-friendly code for user interfaces and Web Applications
- Experience with ReactJS, JestJS, React Testing Library (RTL), Webpack, StorybookJS, and StencilJS
- Skilled in building RESTful APIs and web services
- Experience in developing large-scale Web Applications, particularly with ReactJS
- Familiarity with complex state management and tools like Redux or RxJS
- Competence in writing UI unit tests (Jest, Jasmine, etc.)
- Knowledge of BDD/Automated testing, as well as Accessibility/ADA compliance
- Experience mentoring and guiding other developers on projects
- Knowledge in developing high-performance applications
- Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools such as GitHub
- Experience with project tracking software like Jira
- Proficient in troubleshooting using developer tools
- Knowledge of application monitoring tools like Splunk
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Experience using Interface Design tools like Figma or InVision
Responsibilities
- Work on multiple applications simultaneously
- Provide informal mentoring to junior colleagues
- Develop innovative and creative solutions through analysis and interpretation
- Participate in and potentially lead key projects, customer engagements, or business processes
- Create design documentation at the application or function capability level
- Assist in establishing and upholding application standards and processes
- Communicate effectively regarding application and technical direction within our organization and our clients IT teams
- Advise on systems integration, compatibility, scalability, and multi-platform considerations
- Lead moderate complexity initiatives and deliverables in technical domains
- Contribute to strategic planning at a large scale
- Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs in the technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Analyze and solve moderately complex technical issues that require in-depth technology evaluation
- Lead a team in resolving issues to fulfill existing and potential client needs
- Collaborate with Product, Interaction, and Visual Designers to create the next generation of User Interface platforms and Applications
- Consult with peers and mid-level managers to tackle technical challenges and achieve objectives
- Act as a primary point of escalation for projects and provide guidance to less experienced staff
