Lead Software Engineer

- 8 to 10 years of experience in software development - Expert-level knowledge in Kafka architecture (including brokers, partitions, topics, producers, and consumers) - Proficiency in Kafka Streams (KStreams, KTables) - Experience with topic configurations such as retention, replication, and partitioning - Understanding of exactly-once vs at-least-once processing - Familiarity with schema management (Avro, Protobuf, JSON) - Skilled in Kafka Connect - Experience in testing with TopologyTestDriver & TestContainers - Mastery of Java / J2EE - Strong grasp of Apache basics - In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, and REST APIs - Proven ability to build REST APIs using Spring Boot - Knowledge of Spring Data / Spring Data JPA - Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Spock, or Mockito - Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases - Competence in CI/CD using Jenkins - Proficient in writing queries for Oracle and MSSQL - Familiarity with Git and automated testing tools - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift - Exposure to Apache Flink or KSQLDB (optional) - Knowledge of GitHub Actions / GitLab CI (optional) - Understanding of event-driven architecture (optional) - Familiarity with RabbitMQ (optional) - Experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) (optional) - Knowledge of OpenTelemetry (optional) - Proficiency in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, JMX, or Dynatrace (optional) - Exposure to SAFE Agile / Scrum methodologies (optional) - Kafka or Java certifications (optional)
