Requirements

Must:
We are looking for a candidate who possesses 3 to 5 years of progressive IT/development experience, ideally with some exposure to specialist or senior IT roles. Previous work experience in aerospace, composites, or high-precision manufacturing is preferred. The ideal applicant should have a solid understanding of IT principles along with skills in networking, cybersecurity, and system administration. Proficiency in Python and JavaScript programming for API development and scripting is essential, as well as experience with API development and system integrations, particularly using tools like RESTful services or GraphQL. Familiarity with CMMC or comparable compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) is important. General IT skills, including hardware/software management, cloud services (such as AWS or Azure), and database management are also required. We value advanced troubleshooting abilities and expertise with tools like Excel; experience with BI or DevOps tools would be an asset. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate across functional teams, are essential traits for success in our environment. We seek individuals with high integrity, an analytical mindset, a drive for accountability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. A desire to grow within a hands-on, expanding company is necessary, and exposure to ERP systems, version control (like Git), or containerization is a bonus.

Responsibilities

In this role, I will expect you to lead day-to-day IT operations, which will include hardware setup, software installation, network maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will provide technical support to staff, resolve issues, and ensure system uptime and security. It will be your responsibility to maintain and enhance IT policies, cybersecurity measures, and processes. With respect to CMMC compliance, you will assess our current IT systems against CMMC requirements and formulate implementation plans. You'll monitor compliance metrics, conduct audits, and propose enhancements to ensure we meet certification standards while communicating with external auditors, advisors, and regulatory bodies as necessary. For API development and integration, I expect you to develop and manage APIs using Python and JavaScript to connect our business platforms (like ERP and CRM). You will integrate systems for a smooth data flow, automation, and better operational efficiency, as well as identify integration risks and optimize performance while proposing solutions for scalability. Furthermore, you will assist in implementing and driving improvements in our IT systems, automation, and workflow efficiency, and execute ad hoc analyses, special projects, and infrastructure planning support.

We excel in design, tooling, fabrication, and complete composite assemblies for aerospace, marine, and specialized industrial markets.
