Requirements
Must:
- Related post-secondary diploma or degree in Information Technology
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of various operating systems, cloud platforms, databases, and networking protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in budget management and vendor negotiations
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organizations IT Plan and technology roadmap to align with strategic objectives
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to manage the IT budget, including forecasting and identifying cost-saving measures
- Negotiate with vendors for telecommunications, office equipment, and security services
- Oversee the implementation of new systems to ensure smooth operations
- Evaluate new technology and manage the planning and execution of upgrades
- Assess cybersecurity risks and recommend necessary protocols
- Manage video monitoring systems across all organizational locations
- Provide IT support for management, administrative services, and direct support teams
- Maintain the IT network and telephone systems, troubleshooting as necessary
- Oversee data management and security for IT systems
- Collaborate with third-party IT support to ensure network uptime
- Manage building security technology and video monitoring systems
- Ensure appropriate online controls in collaboration with HR for staff accounts
- Oversee mobile device management, including purchasing and troubleshooting
- Design and deliver training sessions for staff on technology use and productivity tools
