Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Technical Writing Certification is a plus
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing and communications
- Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous
- Prior experience in documentation management preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong writing and grammatical abilities
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capability to present complex information clearly and concisely
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Skilled in editing and proofreading peers work
- Familiarity with behavioral healthcare terminology and concepts
Responsibilities
- Act as the lead writer on various projects, including newsletters and publications
- Create and implement materials for CBH Members, Providers, and stakeholders
- Conduct research and interviews to generate content for diverse formats such as fact sheets, blogs, and scripts
- Assist internal SMEs in developing materials tailored to the Provider community, including policies and guidelines
- Oversee projects that involve writing and editing technical documents, including manuals
- Produce and refine procedural documentation such as user guides
- Draft RFPs, RFIs, and procurement-related documents
- Determine the appropriate publication types based on project needs
- Collaborate with team members and SMEs to document processes
- Stay informed about trends in healthcare and insurance sectors
- Evaluate audience needs to adjust tone and terminology for clarity
- Assist in planning writing processes, establishing timelines, and deadlines
- Collaborate with graphic designers to create diagrams and visual aids
- Gather feedback from stakeholders to enhance publications and content
- Assist in the creation of user tutorials for applications
- Contribute to maintaining the information architecture
Description
